Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
